PROJECTS

Unemployment in our country remains a challenge for the economy and the well being our people. Many young people do not have the necessary skills to become confident employees and successful entrepreneurs.
This challenge has contributed to the growing number of unemployed youth in our country, which has a negative impact in the growth of our economy.
The Red Cap Foundation launched the Jump Start project to address such problems. Our focus is on unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 24 with the aim to inspire and motivate them to identify their place of most potential so that they are able to take steps to ensure that they generate an income.
Our support in the development of soft skills in young, talented and motivated people changed the lives of 240 young people in Kwa Zulu Natal, Gauteng and the Cape who received one week of formal training and an opportunity to gain work experience at a Mr Price store for one week.
