DONATION & SPONSORSHIP
WELFARE DONATIONS:
The RedCap Foundation continues to support a variety of community projects, which are aimed at the welfare and development of children and youth in South Africa. Support is given in a form of cash or in-kind donations to registered non-profit organizations or community initiatives that meet our criteria.
DONATION CRITERIA:
We will consider requests which are focused on the physical, mental and emotional development of children and youth under the age of 24.
Preference will be given to requests that fit with the above focus and:
- Are of a developmental nature
- Benefit children and youth from less privileged communities or previously disadvantaged groups
- Urban based initiatives
MR PRICE GROUP STOCK RETURNS
Mr Price Group donates over R1milion worth of clothing which is returned from its divisions to registered local charitable organizations. These donations are given to mainly children and youth in less privileged, low income communities in Kwa Zulu Natal. The RedCap Foundation facilitates the distribution of these donations on behalf of Mr Price Group.
If you wish for your organisation to be one of the recipients, please send us the name of your organisation, registration number and contact details. It is vital to provide us with general information of your beneficiaries, i.e. children, location of a home or project, ages etc.
We will NOT consider requests of the following nature:
- Sponsorship of any nature where the benefit is purely focused on brand exposure
- Sports sponsorships, unless directly linked to our projects
- Fashion shows and beauty contests
- Golf days, unless directly linked to our projects
